Using Mission Planner
Mission Planner is a planning and visualisation aid. It does not control an aircraft, authorise a flight or verify compliance with local flight rules.
Review every mission
You are responsible for checking waypoint coordinates, altitude references, home position and flight-controller settings before using an exported file. Some INAV commands cannot be fully simulated. The interface identifies these limitations where possible.
Estimates and external data
Terrain samples can miss obstacles and contain gaps. Maps may be incomplete or out of date. Battery usage, geometric turn paths and camera footprints are estimates. Wind, aircraft dynamics, radio links and permissions are not assessed. An apparently clear preview does not establish that a flight is safe.
Your files and shared copies
Keep backups of work you need. Browser storage can be cleared or become unavailable. Share only missions you are entitled to share. Encrypted reviews are copies and cannot be remotely revoked through this application.
Attribution
Map providers and third-party components retain their respective rights. Keep provider credits on screenshots, recordings and other exported map imagery. See About & credits for component and model notices.
